I'd like to recommend the book "How to Do Nothing: Resisting the Attention Economy" by Jenny Odell. It's a philosophical ramble (there's a lot of walking & bird-watching involved). :-)

Okay you’re the third person that has recommended it! I honestly hesitated because so many self help books these days are full of fluff, but it sounds like this one is speaking my language. Will def check it out!

P.S. I’m honestly spending so much time in my backyard discovering new birds! We have hummingbirds, woodpeckers and even an owl! Feeling lucky :)

Thanks so much for subscribing! Odell's book is definitely not self help. It's kind of disguised as such---(I suspect it's the way the publisher packaged the book) but you soon learn that no definitive answers are given. Instead, it sets you off thinking about stuff and listening to things.
